- 1 Kadhai
- 1 Cup Wheat Flour
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Dryfruits
- 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
- 4 Tbsp Ghee
- 2 Cups Milk
- Heat the ghee in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the wheat flour and roast until it turns golden brown.This should take around 10-15 minutes. (Quirky tip: add a pinch of salt to the flour while roasting to bring out the flavor)
- Gradually add the milk while continuously stirring the mixture to prevent lumps from forming.
- Add the sugar, cardamom powder, and sliced almonds and raisins (if using).
- Keep stirring until the mixture thickens and the halwa starts to come away from the sides of the pan.
- Serve hot, garnished with a few extra sliced almonds and a sprinkle of cardamom powder.
